The Gathered Dawn
A hero standing on the Hearthstead shrine, its crystal glowing among voxel trees

TheGatheredDawn

The gods summoned you. The Beacons have gone dark. Cross a voxel realm region by region and bring back the light.

In development for PC

A realm that gets wilder the farther you go

You wake at the last shrine where the light still holds. Around it lie the gentle Heartlands: meadows, birch woods and the odd goblin scout. Push outward and the regions change. Camps grow into war bands with archers and shamans, wolves turn dire, and the shrines you find are corrupted and guarded.

Every region has a name, a level range and a shrine to claim. Your map fills in as you explore it.

Fight with weight

A three-hit combo: a slash, a backhand sweep, then a slam that shakes the dust loose. Roll through attacks you see coming.

Explore on a tabletop map

Your world map is a carved relief on a cartographer's table, with painted pieces for camps, shrines and your pins.

Gather, forge and gear up

Mine ore, pick herbs and smith your own weapons and armour. Everything you wear shows on your hero.

Built in the open

The Gathered Dawn is being made right now by a solo developer. Everything on this site is from the current build, warts and all. The devlog covers what changed and the roadmap shows what's next, from day and night to towns, companions and classes.
